SYSTEM3 Prefab House…

At the MoMA Exhibition: Home Delivery, a SYSTEM3 prefab house was put up. Watch the incredible video where the house arrives in two containers at 6:00 AM and they complete assembly at 1:30 PM. The house is 53 square meters, which is around 570 square feet, and is fully equipped with a kitchen, bath, and lighting. It has a staircase to access the roof, which can serve to connect floors in the case of a vertical expansion of the units. Since the staircases are always located at the same fixed position, you can easily stack the serving units..

Love your website! I stumbled upon it while I was trying to find links to System 3 pre fab house. Hope to one day have some type of sustainable home. I was searching for cost information.
Hope all is well in NZ. I visited there a couple years ago “tramping” with Active NZ. Whew! Those mountains are awesome.
    Cheers :)

    Great stuff here!
Modular / prefab homes will offer solutions to the world’s housing shortage for the deprived, under-privileged and low income populations in society by providing a total system for basic, low-cost, quality built housing. The modular housing constructed with sandwich panels is the lowest in cost, most rapidly erected, simplest in design, and most structurally sound basic housing in existence today. Plus, you can ship 21 houses in a 40 foot container.
